Quality Assurance Nurse, Sr. evaluates the quality of patient care. Monitors compliance with current laws, process improvements, and implementation of clinical best practices. Being a Quality Assurance Nurse, Sr. reviews and analyzes customer complaints. Helps train staff on new or improved clinical practices. Additionally, Quality Assurance Nurse, Sr. requires an associate's degree/bachelor's degree and is licensed to practice nursing. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. To be a Quality Assurance Nurse, Sr. typically requires 4 to 7 years of related experience. Contributes to moderately complex aspects of a project. Pay: $17-$19/hr
Shift: 2nd - 3:30pm-12:00am
Job Duties:- Performs inspections verifications, audits to ensure compliance to established standards and specifications including; received purchased goods and materials fabricated and assembled parts, in process procedure, and products, final inspections and pack audits, etc.
- Facilities data collection, initiates reports, and manages pertinent records of product quality and safety requirements set
- Facilitates the company wide documentation control process necessary for ensuring process consistence and high standards of product quality, reliability, and safety
- Follows and sets an example for the company’s quality management system and safety program with duties to include assist in conducting investigations, analysis of implementation of corrective actions, and process improvements
- Coordinates and revises process controls and associated procedures
Minimum Requirements- High School Diploma or GED
- 2 – 3 years of quality verification and inspection experience
Preferred Requirements- Quality Technician Certification (CQT)
- OSHA 30 hour certification
