Job Summary:
This position is responsible for maintaining quality standards throughout the testing, manufacturing, warehousing, and distribution operations of consumer products. The Specialist will be able to build collaborative working relationships with cross-functional peers and outside service providers.
Job Responsibilities:
Essential Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Strong observational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Knowledge of standard practices related to quality control
Understanding of manufacturing methods and procedures
ASQ or CQE certification desirable
Able to travel (up to 30%) for on premise work at CMO locations
Ability to effectively use Microsoft Software (Windows, Outlook, Word, Excel)
High level of proficiency in written communications
Ability to interact positively, professionally and with a sense of urgency with customers, employees, and vendors
Ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment
Strong sense of Professionalism
Proven record of process improvement and execution
Credentials/ Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in business, quality, science, engineering, or related major or equivalent work experience
Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in QC compliance
