· Monitors documentation for appropriateness of care.

· Monitors and analyzes QA/PI issues

· Promotes compliance through education and coaching.

· Promotes and educates regarding the concepts of infection control and standard precautions

· In collaboration with management, develops, implements, and revises policies, procedures, and practices designed to ensure compliance

· Independently investigates and acts on matters related to compliance

· Responsible for conducting an ongoing comprehensive and integrated assessment of the quality and appropriateness of the care provided

· Aggregates and trends data collected to correct identified problems in collaboration with management

· Monitors all service providers for effective interchange and coordination of care in providing care

· Demonstrates knowledge of, and ensures compliance with, all local, state and federal laws relating to the operations of the Hospice

· Resolves documentation issues and recommend changes to procedures

· Analyzes, reviews and reports on quality indicators

Location: Bryan, Texas

Requirements

• RN required
• Experience with MDS/OASIS/ICD-10 Coding a plus.
• Experience in reviewing nurses’ notes for completeness, compliance with physician’s orders, authorized services, and relegations required
• Experience with hospice is preferred, and experience in healthcare is required.
