POSITION PURPOSE

This individual is responsible for the day-to-day Quality Assurance function at Bona DC2. Duties will include process auditing, inspection of finished goods and auditing completed orders to ensure timely and accurate completion of warehouse tasks. This position will work closely with all functional departments in the DC division objectives while maintaining a focus on customer service, product quality and inventory accuracy. This individual contributes to a positive team atmosphere and applies safety guidelines in a fair and consistent manner.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DUTIES

QUALIFICATION AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

• High school diploma/GED. Some college is preferred.
• Experience in warehouse/distribution management and inventory accuracy.
• Background in operating a forklift preferred.
• Must have a minimum of 1 year of quality auditing or inventory control experience.
• Must have experience warehousing finished goods and raw materials.
• Must have a working knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and warehouse management concepts.
• Must demonstrate a “hands on” problem solving approach.
• Must demonstrate effective verbal and written communication and organizational skills, strong analytical skills with attention to details, and be able to influence individuals to achieve results.
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office - Outlook, Excel, etc.

JOB DUTIES:

• Perform random, in-process auditing designated by the Quality Manager; assist with follow-up on quality-related problems.
• Inspect finished products, products being processed, incoming materials, parts, assemblies, and test products for conformance to company standards; check to ensure corrective action is being taken on failed inspections.
• Research, resolve, and communicate work problems to Manager and assist coworkers in solving problems.
• Document audit findings and records in applicable Excel files.
• Bring ideas to management and be able to implement necessary process improvements.
• Develop mutually beneficial, respectful, and effective relationships with peers to ensure seamless coordination between departments, maximize synergy, and maintain a shared vision, strategy, and focus.
• Drive strict adherences to Standard Operating Procedures.
• Keep the warehouse clean and adhere to the 5’S Housekeeping Standards

• Able and willing to work necessary hours to meet all project deadlines, travel when necessary.

Salary/Wage Range: $18.00 to $21.00 per hour

Compensation for the role will depend on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience and may fall outside of the range shown.
