    POSITION SUMMARY
    Assist the Quality Assurance Manager in supporting an effective Quality Assurance Department that reviews and enhances the practices of Community Partnership for Children to align with established contractual and performance requirements. Provides analyses to improve the quality and effectiveness of Community Partnership for Children’s system of care.
    PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
    • Collect and analyze data needed to ensure compliance with state and federal statutes, contractual obligations and internal requirements.
    • This includes but is not limited to:
    • Works cooperatively with case management and other partners to create and maintain a positive culture and effective working relationships
    • Conducts quarterly In-Depth Case Reviews in accordance with Department protocols.
    • Completes case reviews to include Federal Child and Family Service Reviews and other reviews as assigned.
    • Effectively communicates (orally and written) and disseminates review and report findings/results
    • Assists in the development and implementation of performance improvement plans.
    • Conducts in-depth reviews on complex and/or high-profile cases
    • Serves as liaison and primary point of contact for Department Life of Case Reviews
    • Compiles data and/or completes reports related to performance initiatives and QA/QI activities
    • Prepares and analyzes monthly management and performance reports
    • Maintains knowledge of quality standards, performance measures and goals, internal and external services, programs, statutes, operating procedures, and policies to assure compliance.
    • Provides case consultation as requested by Quality Assurance Manager or Chief of QM & Permanency
    • Assists with managing incident reporting and exit interview processes.
    • Works in partnership with other departments to develop, coordinate and facilitate meetings, trainings and presentations related to Quality Management and Improvement.
    • Additional projects assigned by the Quality Assurance Manager.
    • Track, report and manage essential contractual performance measures assigned by the Department or management.
    • Attend trainings and meetings that are QA/CQI specific and disseminate information to appropriate staff.
    • Supports the agency in completing contractual requirements.

    EXPERIENCE/PERFORMANCE REQUIREMENTS (Knowledge, skills and abilities):
    • Minimum of two (2) years of case management, child welfare, or QA experience preferred.
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
    • Experience or knowledge of public sector child welfare management.
    • Ability to assess, problem-solve, and apply intervention strategies
    • Demonstrate cultural and linguistic competence and sensitivity to population served
    • Ability to plan, organize and coordinate work assignments.
    • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others.
    • Knowledge of social, economic, rehabilitation or health care service objectives.
    • Knowledge of methods of compiling, organizing, and analyzing data.
    • Ability to develop methods for monitoring and evaluating quality of service and compliance with rules, policies, and statutes.
    • Ability to review and evaluate plans and programs.
    • Ability to identify improvements and adjustments needed to ensure program effectiveness and efficiency.
    • Ability to establish and maintain liaison with other agencies.
    EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
    REQUIRED:
    • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in human services related field
    • Certified as a Child Protection Professional in Florida
    LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS
    • Possess a current Background Clearance Screening Letter as required by DCF; and successfully complete the background screening requirements for Community Partnership for Children.
    • If local travel is required, a Valid Florida driver’s license and documentation of current automobile insurance, with $100,000/$300,000 bodily injury liability limit, is required.
    PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT
    Employee will work in an office/clerical environment. The employee will work predominantly seated with recurrent need to walk, stand, and bend from the waist. Occasional light lifting, stooping, and climbing may be required. Occasional local travel.
