Community Action Agency of Greater Kansas City is a nonprofit organization providing programs and services to low-income residents of Jackson, Platte and Clay counties, Missouri.

Minimum Requirements:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Social Work, Sociology, or related filed
2. Five (5) years of related function of ensuring compliance to grants
3. Exceptional database management system and quality control experience
4. Strong writing skills
5. Good numerical skills and understanding of mathematical formulas
6. Excellent listening and assessment skills
7. Strong attention to detail
8. Some evenings and weekends required occasionally
9. Reliable transportation, valid driver license and maintain active car insurance

Essential Job Functions:         

1. Monitor program operations to ensure compliance with applicable regulations, guidelines and policies
2. Ensure all eligibilities and criteria for programs and services are met
3. Evaluate the quantity and quality of program operations are documented as specified by funding source
4. Work closely with department manager and leadership team to build evaluation tools for programs and communicate internal and external results
5. Create and file appropriate compliance reports
6. Conduct internal investigation of compliance issues and identify critical control points and preventive measures
7. Identify organizational training needs to build professional development
8. Merit audit responses to findings and recommendations
9. Routinely report the effectiveness of departments, programs and services through Customer Surveys, Quality Assurance Reports, Outcome of Efforts, Community Assessment Needs, to name a few
10. Inquire and maintain ROMA Certification (Results-Oriented Management and Accountability)
11. Adjust to frequent change in duties and procedures
12. Be nonjudgmental and objective in working with clients, vendors and coworkers
13. Work independently and/or team settings and adhere to deadlines
14. Work efficiently and effectively in high stress situations
15. Represent CAAGKC at special events, meetings and/or remote locations
16. Any other duties as assigned
