What you will be responsible for:
Develop and maintain quality management systems to ensure compliance to quality standards and specifications. Assist with ensuring the Windings’ quality management system is suitable, adequate, and effective in accordance with ISO 9001 and AS9100 standards.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Ensure compliance with the ISO 9000 and AS9100 Quality Systems standards as well as other site-specific standards.
o Act as plant representative for 3rd party audits (Customer Audits, 3rd Party Certification).
o Ensure quality procedures and documents are properly updated, compliant, and maintained.
o Facilitate quarterly management review meetings.
o Complete customer quality surveys.
o Identify and manage opportunities for improvement in the quality system.
• Manage the corrective/preventive action system.
o Assist in investigating quality issues and create corrective action reports.
o Document customer complaints and corresponding corrective action requests.
o Assign corrective actions and assist in the creation of reports.
o Evaluate corrective action responses for adequate root cause and document verification of effectiveness for actions taken.
• Coordinate the internal audit function and train internal auditors.
• Assign, manage and monitor quality related assignments for the company.
• Coordinate the training and effectiveness for quality related requirements.
o Conduct quality orientation with new hires.
o Coordinate any outsourced quality training needs.
• Monthly data reporting for QA department quality objectives and initiate actions.
• Educate site personnel on quality issues and requirements.
• Other duties, as assigned.

Education:
· Four-year college degree or a high school diploma/GED with advanced quality experience. Experience performing quality duties in a manufacturing environment is desired. This position requires knowledge of quality standards, ideally ISO 9000 and AS9100.
Experience:
· 2 years of related work experience is preferred.
