The Quality Assurance Specialist plays a crucial role in ensuring the quality and safety of our food products through meticulous review and analysis of finished product data, creation, and review of certificates of analysis (COA) for product shipments, and management of incoming ingredient documentation. This position also involves providing support for customer requests by assisting in email communication and document uploading.
Job Duties:
· Review Finished Product Data
· Create and Review Certificates of Analysis (COA)
· Manage Incoming Ingredient Documentation
· Customer Request Support
Key Accountabilities:
· Certificate of Analysis creation, review, and organization
· Data Analysis and reporting
· Continuous improvement in documentation management
· Timely customer communication
Qualifications Include:
· Bachelor's degree in food science, Biology, Chemistry, or related field preferred.
· Previous experience in quality assurance or a related role in the food manufacturing industry.
· Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in data analysis and documentation.
· Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact professionally with internal teams and external customers.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with document management systems preferred.
· Knowledge of food safety regulations and quality standards (e.g., HACCP, SQF, GMP) is desirable.

Work is performed in a production/warehouse environment. While in production and warehouse areas staff will frequently be exposed to grain dust and fine powders that contain common allergens like Wheat, Soy, Milk, Eggs. The noise level in the work environment is typically moderate to high, noise protection is required in designated areas of production.
