Quality Control Analyst jobs in Amarillo, TX

Missouri Valley, Inc. in Amarillo, Texas, is looking for full-time Field Quality Control Inspectors to successfully ensure materials and workmanship conform to our client’s quality requirements and the company’s quality assurance program. A good candidate should be detail-oriented, a quick learner, and have good written documentation skills. Some of the job responsibilities are as follows:

• Perform inspections on incoming materials, work in progress, and finished products
• Maintain custody and control of materials
• Perform inspections and document results
• Identify, document, and report on non-conformances
• Maintain and update quality control documentation
• Perform Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) awareness training

Experience

• A minimum of 2-4 years experience (4 years preferred) as a foreman, field inspector, superintendent, or project manager in the commercial construction industry is required.
• Experience understanding quality assurance requirements in technical specifications and drawings for construction projects
• Familiarity with Quality Systems and Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC)

Preferred Experience

• Knowledge, education, or experience with ASME NQA-1
• 2-4 years experience in the industrial construction industry.
• 10 or 30-hour OSHA Training on Construction Safety
• Knowledge, education, or experience with ASME or AWS codes
• AWS Certified Weld Inspector
• ACI Certified Concrete Field Testing Technician
• McElroy Certified Fusion Inspector
• Knowledge, education, or experience in inspections and testing common in construction
• Experience in using precision measuring instruments for accurate assessments
