Quality Control Technician- Lab

The quality control technician position inspects materials and products, such as sheet stock, trailer parts, or components, and finished trailers for conformance to specifications.

What you will do:

Quality control technicians will be involved or responsible for

• Green End – flake quality (fines and bark)

• Dryers – Moisture control

• Blenders – wax and resin temperature, filtration, and distribution

• Forming – weight distribution, flake alignment, fines, bunker fill level

• Press – strand temperature, press temperature, heat transfer, and press recipes

Minimum qualifications that you will need:

• Eligible to legally work in the United States
• High education and post-secondary education, preferably wood sciences
• Willing and able to work a 12-hour rotating schedule which will include nights, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to work as part of a team and deliver value to the team
• Willingness and ability to cross-train to learn new jobs and skills
• Consistent, predictable attendance
