    This is an opportunity to join a metal surface treatment technology facility with an established industrial company that is the world leader in this field. As the Manager, Quality Control, you will have the opportunity to be crossed trained on various aspects of liquid coatings.

    Your Challenge:

    • Oversee all Quality related functions and supervise Quality staff.
    • Develop/Approve Process and Inspection plans compliant with customer and industry specific requirements
    • Review component certifications to ensure compliance with purchase order requirements.
    • Review and evaluate contractual requirements in specifications and drawings
    • Ensure quality and regulatory compliance in accordance with documented procedures for all aspects of functional responsibility.
    • Provide subject matter expertise while interacting with internal and external customers and suppliers
    • Develop, review, approve and control all Quality Management System documentation
    • Perform and document Internal Audit program.
    • Host all customer and regulatory audits and ensure continued certification to AS9100 and Nadcap Chemical Processing
    • Review, evaluate, and answer customer correspondence.
    • Maintain training requirements and records for site.
    • Perform Root Cause Analysis and Corrective Action for discrepant product
    • Identify potential project quality issues
    • Act as Environmental Health and Safety Coordinator and ensure OSHA and EPA regulatory and training requirements are met.

    Your Expertise:

    • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
    • 1-2 years of third-party audit experience; being able to lead third party audits.
    • 3-4 years of experience working within a fast-paced manufacturing environment (job shop)
    • 8-10years of chemical processing experience
    • 8-10years experience in implementing Quality Management System (AS9100 or other regulated environment)
    • Experience with Nadcap accreditation process and auditing preferred
    • Ability to read and interpret customer drawings and specifications
    • Background in job shop manufacturing environment (Metal finishing or coating preferred)
    • 5 years Supervisory experience of technical and administrative staff
    • Ability to perform Root Cause analysis and implement Corrective Actions
    • Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers
    • Must be a US Citizen and able to obtain DoD security clearance
