Quality Control Analyst jobs in Portsmouth, OH
Quality Control Analyst performs various scientific analyses to evaluate the quality of raw materials, in-process materials, and finished goods and ensure compliance with established standards. Conducts and validates various biological and chemical quality control (QC) assays. Being a Quality Control Analyst compiles, interprets, and documents statistical data from testing processes to either confirm compliance with established quality standards or identify deviations. May be responsible for establishing specifications for conducting assays and writing standard operating procedures. Additionally, Quality Control Analyst typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Quality Control Analyst work is closely managed. Works on projects/matters of limited complexity in a support role. United Talent is currently seeking General Laborers at a Steel Galvanizing Facility in Greenup, Kentucky who are hardworking and motivated! Applicants who are interested must be able to stand on their feet for long periods of time and be able to lift over 80 pounds throughout their shift.
Job Duties, not limited to :
- Unload incoming steel from delivery trucks using a forklift!
- Rack steel beams by hand, forklift, or overhead crane.
- Operate galvanizer while wearing protective gear.
- Unbundle beams for crane using clippers while wearing proper PPE
- Bundle beams using a bundling machine.
Requirements
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time in all-weather elements.
- Must be hard working and motivated
- Must be able to lift 80 pounds throughout an8,10, or 12 hour shift.
- Must wear all PPE including safety glasses, hard hat, steel toed boots, long sleeved shirts, arm covers, and jeans in all weather conditions.
- Must be able to work any shift.
