Quality Control Analyst performs various scientific analyses to evaluate the quality of raw materials, in-process materials, and finished goods and ensure compliance with established standards. Conducts and validates various biological and chemical quality control (QC) assays. Being a Quality Control Analyst compiles, interprets, and documents statistical data from testing processes to either confirm compliance with established quality standards or identify deviations. May be responsible for establishing specifications for conducting assays and writing standard operating procedures. Additionally, Quality Control Analyst typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Quality Control Analyst work is closely managed. Works on projects/matters of limited complexity in a support role. General Purpose
In the production of towers to ensure compliance with specific defined quality specification requirements.
Major Responsibilities
Executing inspection on value class A components (Tower sections, flanges and steel plates at the Factory and at defined sub-suppliers).
Knowledge and Skills Desired
Hard skills
Vocational background as blacksmith, 2-5 years experience within Quality inspection on Steel parts; cut and welded
Preferably certified Lead Auditor regarding ISO 9001.
Proficient computer skills must be competent in Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Soft skills
Strong interpersonal skills to communicate Vestas requirements
Service minded personality
Proactive and enthusiastic with good attention to detail and a willingness to take ownership
Service minded
Open-minded and able to enhance cross- departmental communication to implement and drive through changes in order to achieve a best practice culture.
