As a Warehouse & Quality Control Operator you are responsible for the daily shipping/receiving of Product. Warehouse/QC employees are also responsible for Quality checks before product is packed for shipment. These products must meet customer specifications before shipment can be communicated with the Shipping Coordinator.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Read and interpret process instructions and/or job specifications to determine appropriate specifications required by specific customer.
Inspects setup parts to ensure accuracy of machine operation and compliance with quality requirements.
Receive documents from incoming shipments and deliver them to Account Payable
Knowledge of safe forklift operation with certification
Knowledge of Pallet Jack operation both manual and electric
Assist in training new employees
Perform other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
Must demonstrate ability to follow instructions.
Must demonstrate ability to safely setup, troubleshoot, and operate all equipment.
Must demonstrate ability to communicate status to other employees (typically during shift change) and supervisor.
Must demonstrate ability to follow safety instructions and procedures.
Must demonstrate ability to meet production/efficiency standards for all equipment.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Must have the use of both arms and legs
Must be able to work twelve (12) hour shifts for an extended period of time
Must be able to lift, push, and pull items up to fifty (50) pounds on a regular basis.
Must be able to perform all duties pertaining to the job.
Must be able to stand for prolonged periods of time (typically a full shift).
Must be able to wear appropriate personal protective equipment (typically safety shoes, safety glasses, and hearing protection).
