Quality Control Analyst performs various scientific analyses to evaluate the quality of raw materials, in-process materials, and finished goods and ensure compliance with established standards. Conducts and validates various biological and chemical quality control (QC) assays. Being a Quality Control Analyst compiles, interprets, and documents statistical data from testing processes to either confirm compliance with established quality standards or identify deviations. May be responsible for establishing specifications for conducting assays and writing standard operating procedures. Additionally, Quality Control Analyst typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Quality Control Analyst work is closely managed. Works on projects/matters of limited complexity in a support role. - Uses experience and judgment for planning and accomplishing goals.
- May obtain samples to conduct studies in laboratory analysis and determine measures to be taken to remedy deviations from standards.
- Other duties as instructed.
- $18 - $20 D.O.E.
Qualifications:- 2 year of Quality inspection in a manufacturing environment.
- 2 years of Manufacturing experience is Preferred.
- Must have experience using calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
- Experience with MS Office or MAC OS. Email, databases is a MUST.
- High school diploma, GED or equivalent relevant experience.
- Must be able to read, write and understand fundamental English.
