Being a Quality Control Inspector records observations and may make recommendations for improving processes. Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. Additionally, Quality Control Inspector typically reports to a supervisor. The Quality Control Inspector may require 0-1 year of general work experience. This position is part of our shipping and receiving group. The focus of this position is to inspect incoming parts supplied by our vendors. When not inspecting parts, this position is expected to contribute to the everyday tasks of shipping and receiving.
Responsibilities
● Inspect incoming vendor supplied parts.
● Maintain quality documentation including inspection and non-conformance reports.
● Assist in the loading / unloading of trucks.
Education/Experience
● Ability to use all common measuring and inspecting tools.
● Ability to read and understand drawings.
● Basic computer skills.
● Attention to detail.
● Ability to communicate among several departments.
● Tow motor and overhead crane experience a plus.
Requirements
● Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
● Successful passage of a background check and drug screen.
