Quality Control Assistant

Responsibilities

• Follows all GMPs’ regulations and ensures that all production employees are also GMP
• compliant
• Perform inspection and verifies all production lines to ensure Food Safety and Quality of
• products produced at facility
• Performs test as per product specification such as moisture analyzes, pH level,
• vacuum/leaking test, Oxygen/Carbon Dioxide percentages, weight checks, label/code
• and product integrity
• Inspects all incoming/outgoing shipments of products
• Works with QC Inspectors in assuring all retains have been sampled as per production
• schedule and maintaining log of all retains
• Monitors and verifies all HACCP points and notifies QC Manager/Production Manager of
• any deviations
• Responsible for understanding the Allergen program at the facility
• Performs calibrations on instruments and all scales throughout the plant
• Responsible for sending samples out for 3rd Party Micro Lab Testing
• Must maintain clean work environment in department
• Maintains all controlled documents and test records in a timely and accurate manner
• Works with QC Manager on projects that needed to be completed in a timely manner
• In the absence of QC Inspector, the QC Assistant will assume the duties

Compensation package: $20-$24

Job Type:  Full-time

1st, 2nd and 3rd shift
