The Quality Control Inspector is responsible for performing daily inspections on telecommunications installations & service appointments to identify substandard or incorrectly installed equipment and services. Inspections will be performed utilizing quality control checklists. Deficiencies and deviations are reported by the Quality Control Inspector to the installations technician’s direct supervisor for further action, correction or acceptance.
To excel in this role, you must have a strong understanding of fiber optic technology and be familiar with industry standards and regulations. You must have excellent attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with installation teams and other stakeholders. Additionally, being familiar with testing equipment and tools used in fiber optic inspections is essential.
