Position Overview

In this critical position, the Quality Inspector will perform plate layout inspection, visual and final inspection of all product. Assist Quality Engineer and engineering department, as required.

Essential Job Responsibilities:

• Preform product inspection at different stages of manufacture using precision measuring instruments including CMMs
• Interpret drawings, specifications and manufacturing plans
• Record actual dimensions on quality documentation
• Set-up gages used in the Quality Plan
• Recommend process and quality plan improvements

Requirements

• Inspection experience in the Aerospace industry is preferred
• Must have the ability to use precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, height gages, indicators…
• Understanding CMMs and CMM programming is a prefered
• Reading and understanding detailed engineering drawings
• Strong understanding of GD&T
• Ability to read and interpret customer specifications
• Strong understanding of shop math
• Self-motivated with the ability to work unsupervised
• Strong work ethic is a MUST.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
