The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of quality control in our food manufacturing processes, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and company policies.

    This is a full time direct hire role, 1st shift located on site in the Milford/Orange CT area

    Salary up to $105,000 annually

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Develop and implement quality control procedures to ensure the consistency and safety of our products.
    • Conduct regular inspections and audits of production processes to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
    • Collaborate with production teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.
    • Manage a team of quality control technicians, providing leadership, guidance, and training as needed.
    • Maintain accurate records of quality control activities and performance metrics.
    • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and developments in food safety and quality control.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or a related field preferred
    • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in food quality control, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
    • Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and quality control standards.
    • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
    • Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to accuracy and precision.
