  • Position Summary:

    Schedule: Monday- Friday, Hours: 7am-3:30pm; flexible to jobs demands.

    Salary: $20 per hour

    Reports to he Director of Quality Assurance, the Quality Control Manager is responsible for overseeing quality at assigned worksites where people with different abilities work together in integrated teams and receive work support and development as needed to achieve the highest level of independence as possible.

    Typical Duties:

    Areas regarding janitorial services, grounds and/or landscaping as required for location.

    Oversees Quality Control instruction, inspection, and recordkeeping processes to ensure contract compliance.

    Assures that workers are aware o the contract requirements pertaining to the work performance by inspections and audits.

    Provides training, quality issue updates, support and on-going feedback to site personnel.

    Ensures compliance with the Quality Manual and the Quality Control Plan.

    Ensures compliance with quality objectives and standards.

    Maintain regulatory oversight in accordance with applicable agencies such as OSHA, FDA, DHS, and Federal Sites. Issue Non-Conformance Reports and track to resolution.

    Develop and establish appropriate communication methods, using routine and periodic meetings, proactive preparation and reporting, and prompt investigation and resolution of customer complaint

    Requirements

    Education: High School diploma or G.E.D, Preferred: 2 years of College

    Experience: 3 years of experience in contract specialty area (janitorial and grounds ). Quality control and supervisory experience preferred (this is a non supervisory role).

    Driving: Must have a Class E License; pass a driving history check, maintain a drivers license and be 21 years or older.

    Background Checks: Must pass varies State and Federal background checks for DCFS Abuse, and Neglect and criminal background.

    Computer Skills: Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook

    Travel: up to 20%
