Quality Control Supervisor jobs in Anaheim, CA
Quality Control Supervisor oversees and monitors the inspection and testing of materials, parts, and products to ensure adherence to established quality standards. Establishes inspection protocols, defines sampling procedures, and determines equipment and mechanisms to be used in the testing process. Being a Quality Control Supervisor recommends changes in specifications of materials, parts, and products based on inspection results. May formulate and revise quality control policies and procedures. Additionally, Quality Control Supervisor, a level I supervisor is considered a working supervisor with little authority for personnel actions. May require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. Working team member that may validate or coordinate the work of others on a support team. Suggests improvements to process, is a knowledge resource for other team members. Has no authority for staff actions. Generally has a minimum of 2 years experience as an individual contributor. - Approve incoming materials by confirming specifications, conducting a visual and measurement test, and rejecting and returning unacceptable materials
- Approve in-process production by confirming required specifications, conducting visual and measurement tests, and communicating the required adjustments to the production supervisor
- Approve all finished products by confirming specifications and conducting required tests
- Return products for re-work if needed and complete documentation to confirm re-work
- Assemble flames/racks/cabinets at required levels using instructions, blueprints, and visual aids
- Using hand tools as needed to trim, shim, and make other adjustments. attach wires and connectors
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 2 years experience in QC..
- Experience with calipers and measurements (tools).
- Ability to multitask
- US Citizen or Green Card holder
- Must pass drug and background screening
Salary: $15.00/ hr. This position is a full-time
