Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Quality Control Supervisor to join our team. As the Quality Control Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing our quality assurance proccess, ensuring that all products meet the highest quality standards, and comply with relevant regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quality control procedures, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to lead a team effectively.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement quality control procedures and policies to ensure product quality meets or exceeds regulatory requirements.
• Conduct regular inspections and audits of production processes, raw materials, and finished products to identify any deviations from quality standards.
• Supervise and train quality control inspectors and technicians to perform testing, sampling, and analysis according to established protocols.
• Review and analyze quality data, including test results, production records, and customer feedback, to identify trends and areas for improvement.
• Investigate quality issues, non-conformances, and customer complaints to determine root causes and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Collaborate with production, engineering, and other departments to resolve quality-related issues and implement quality improvement initiatives.
• Maintain documentation of quality control activities, including test reports, inspection records, and compliance certificates.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and company policies related to quality assurance and food safety.
• Participate in internal and external audits, including regulatory inspections and customer audits, and assist in addressing audit findings and recommendations.
• Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes related to quality control and quality assurance.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a related field such as quality assurance, food science, or engineering (preferred).
• Strong knowledge of QA/QC (Quality Assurance/Quality Control) principles and methodologies
• Previous experience in quality control or quality assurance roles, preferably in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to interpret data and identify trends or anomalies.
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to train, motivate, and supervise a team effectively.
• Proficiency in using computer software for data analysis, documentation, and reporting (e.g., Microsoft Excel, Quality Management Software).
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements and standards relevant to the industry, such as FDA regulations, ISO standards, and HACCP principles.
• Problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving quality issues.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 45 per week
