Quality Control Supervisor jobs in Euclid, OH

• Evaluation of the quality of products, release of products from quarantine to finished goods, development of quality control specifications under PM team’s instruction.
• Supervising sampling plans for product testing, testing procedures for different types of products, methods for maintaining standardization.
• Maintaining operating procedures and methods for equipment used in QC, and a record keeping system for all quality control data, product stability studies, trend analysis, evaluation of outside manufacturer’s controls.
• Conducts comparisons between the new products and similar competitors’ products and/or similar in-house methods, conducts real-time stabilities.
• Assure that QC Laboratory completes all required documentation for product release in a timely manner, assuring availability. Do not allow release until all documentation is complete and reviewed.
• Where required, document release of non-conforming material via the MRB system; write and assist in writing specific MRB release documentation for review by management.
• Perform stability and re-assay work as required to confirm expiration dating and product performance throughout shelf life. Extend dating on all products where possible to allow more efficient manufacture. Document all work and make any changes via the Quality system.
• Confirm results where required and document all work as required by Design Control regulations and as per approved validation plans.
• Interacting with Customer Service Team and Product Management Team to perform assay work for troubleshooting or confirming customer complaints.
• Working closely with Product Management Team to verify the performance of products manufactured during validation, generates quality control specifications for all new products.
• Interact with Manufacturing, Inventory Control, Receiving, and Shipping to give and receive information and updates concerning product status.
• Interact with Inventory Control on date extension requests to reduce discards.
• Teamwork: Collaborate with QC staff to ensure and enhance operational efficiency.
• Responsible for selecting, organizing, training and directing personnel in job assignments.
• .Keep management informed about critical issues and product status.
• Prioritize tasks to reduce backorders.
• All other duties as assigned.

• Bachelor of Science in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology, Molecular Biology, Cell Biology, Biotechnology, or equivalent work experience.
• Three years of ISO 9001 experience preferred.
• Experience within a QMS certified to an ISO standard (ISO13485, ISO9001) preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
