Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Quality Control Coordinator to join our team. As the Quality Control Coordinator, you will be responsible for ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and compliance with our customer's requirements. Along with being responsible for implementing processes and procedures with the aim of becoming ISO 9001 certified as well as improving overall product quality.
Duties:
- Develop and implement quality control processes and procedures with the goal of becoming ISO 9001 compliant
- Analyze production data to identify trends and areas for improvement
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with quality standards (ISO 9001)
- Manage the documentation of quality control processes, including standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions
- Train and educate employees on quality control processes and procedures
- Oversee the calibration and maintenance of inspection equipment
- Lead investigations into product non-conformances and customer complaints
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and changes in regulations related to quality control
Skills:
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to analyze data and identify trends
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- In-depth knowledge of quality assurance principles, practices, and techniques in a manufacturing environment
- Familiarity with ISO 9001:2015 standards
- Experience in fabricating or manufacturing products is preferred
- Proficient in quality inspection techniques and tools
- Strong understanding of QA/QC (Quality Assurance/Quality Control) methodologies
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work well in a team environment
