Quality Generalist Manager develops and administers policies and procedures for evaluating and improving the quality of products, materials, components and/or manufacturing processes. Makes recommendations to ensure production runs meet established quality standards and predicted yields. Being a Quality Generalist Manager ensures employees follow established procedures and complete quality assurance work within time and budgetary constraints. May be responsible for ensuring products meet international quality standards such as ISO 9001. Additionally, Quality Generalist Manager works across a variety of quality assurance disciplines. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Quality Generalist Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. As the Sr. Quality Systems Manager, you will:
· Lead a manufacturing site to excellence in product quality, operational excellence, and a culture of putting patients first.
· Drive the combined Quality and Global Operations and Supply Chain (GO&SC) strategies to deliver results.
· Interact with and influence leaders across multiple leadership teams (Core Quality, Operating Units, and GO&SC).
· Provide oversight for the development and maintenance of quality programs, systems, processes and procedures that ensure compliance with policies and that the performance and quality of services conform to established internal and external standards and guidelines
· Lead audit and inspection preparation, resolution of audit and inspection findings and liaise with auditing groups and inspectors through all stages of the audits
· Facilitate uniform standards worldwide and enable best practice sharing, thereby fostering the achievement of Medtronic's mission globally
· May develop, evaluate, implement and maintain technical quality assurance and control systems or reliability systems and standards pertaining to materials, techniques, or company products.
· Work directly with operating entities to provide process analyses oversight on a continuing basis to enforce requirements and meet regulations.
· Organize the coordination of activities with outside suppliers and Supplier Quality and consultants to ensure timely delivery.

The base salary range is applicable across the United States, excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California. The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience, certification/education, market conditions, and location.
