Quality Generalist Manager develops and administers policies and procedures for evaluating and improving the quality of products, materials, components and/or manufacturing processes. Makes recommendations to ensure production runs meet established quality standards and predicted yields. Being a Quality Generalist Manager ensures employees follow established procedures and complete quality assurance work within time and budgetary constraints. May be responsible for ensuring products meet international quality standards such as ISO 9001. Additionally, Quality Generalist Manager works across a variety of quality assurance disciplines. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Quality Generalist Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Quality Generalist Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required.     • Position Overview

    As the Quality Assurance Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing administrative and technical aspects related to quality management, health, safety, and workshop security operations in the wind energy sector. Your role will involve implementing ISO 9001 standards, conducting technical writing, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations. Additionally, you will provide training on quality assurance practices and collaborate with colleagues and customers to maintain high-quality standards.

    • ISO 9001 auditor or implementation experience (Mastery - 4)
    • Proven fluency in technical writing (Mastery - 4)
    • Technical knowledge about Wind Energy, Farms, and Turbines (Mastery - 4)
    • Employee health, safety, and workshop security operations (Mastery - 4)
    • Ability to teach Quality Assurance and Quality behaviors (Mastery - 4)
    • Six Sigma Black Belt certification desired (Advanced - 3)
    • ISO Process definition, application, and communication (Mastery - 4)
    • Microsoft Office proficiency (Intermediate - 2)
    • Mechanical Knowledge (Mastery - 4)
    • Technical knowledge on gearboxes and main shafts (Advanced - 3)

    Experience: Years:

    • Over 5 years of experience in quality management and/or health & safety leadership roles, preferably in the wind energy or manufacturing industry.
    • Over 5 years of strong knowledge of quality management principles, techniques, and tools, such as statistical process control (SPC), root cause analysis, and failure mode and effects analysis (FMEA).
    • 3 to 5 years of familiarity with health and safety regulations, standards, and best practices applicable to the wind energy sector, including OSHA regulations.
    • 3 to 5 years of experience leading and managing audits, inspections, and incident investigations.

    Job Type: Full-time

    Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
