Quality Generalist Manager develops and administers policies and procedures for evaluating and improving the quality of products, materials, components and/or manufacturing processes. Makes recommendations to ensure production runs meet established quality standards and predicted yields. Being a Quality Generalist Manager ensures employees follow established procedures and complete quality assurance work within time and budgetary constraints. May be responsible for ensuring products meet international quality standards such as ISO 9001. Additionally, Quality Generalist Manager works across a variety of quality assurance disciplines. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Quality Generalist Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Quality Generalist Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required.     Description

    SUMMARY: The Human Resource Generalist will assist the Director of Human Resources with running the daily functions of the Human Resource (HR) department including onboarding staff, enforcing company policies and practices, reward programs and aiding in creating a positive work culture.

    • Supports the Director of Human Resources with maintaining knowledge of industry trends, employment legislations and ensures company’s compliance
    • Conduct annual wage and salary surveys to stay competitive with comp sets in the area
    • Assists with open enrollment and benefits audits for company benefits program
    • Schedules and conducts new hire paperwork
    • Prepares termination paperwork and termination checklists
    • Creates power points for specific trainings such as onboarding and safety meetings
    • Completes all unemployment and disability paperwork
    • Coordinates safety program, participates in safety meetings, and prepares meeting agenda
    • Assists Director of Human Resources with payroll support by following up with managers on missing punches and time off approvals
    • Audits HR systems such as Paycom to ensure data is accurate and up to date
    • Creates birthday and anniversary fliers and coordinates monthly celebrations
    • Assists with coordinating employee recognition programs
    • Manages job requisitions and postings on internal and external websites
    • Occasionally conduct exit interviews on voluntary terminations and involuntary terminations
    • Must support and be an ambassador of Seascape’s company polices and employee handbook
    • File and maintain personnel, medical, workers compensation and other HR employee files
    • Updates Employee Dining Room monitors with the most current company information, job openings, important notices such as parking restrictions during high hotel occupancies
    • Complete additional duties as assigned by the Director of Human Resources

    • Excellent written and oral communication skills
    • Strong organizational and administrative skills
    • Proven ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines
    • Good judgment with the ability to make timely and sound decisions
    • Passion, enthusiasm, focus, creativity, and a positive outlook
    • Bilingual skills a plus
    • Must provide valid document(s) to work in the US

    EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

    • 1-2 years as a Human Resources Coordinator or Generalist position with the desire to grow in the field
    • Knowledge of federal and state labor and employment laws desired
    • High school or GED graduate
