Quality Generalist Manager jobs in Stockton, CA

Responsibilities

• Manage daily operations within the Quality Department
• Plan, direct, supervise and implement all quality control and quality assurance activities
• Ensure quality control and quality assurance procedures are effective and compliant
• Resolve Company nonconformances as reported by others
• Lead Root Cause/Corrective Action and effectiveness activities
• Lead appropriate outgoing internal and external Customer correspondence
• If specs are not achieved, working with engineering define and direct process for rework
• Direct scheduled and unscheduled internal audits
• Assist in performing inspection of finished products for conformance with shop drawings, approved samples, and project requirements
• Coordinate QC inspection requirements with functional supervision
• Working closely with Manufacturing to plan and implement action plans for improved operations, quality control, and production throughput
• Managing and maintaining all documentation related to certifications and permitting
• Communicating any problems or obstacles to senior management
• Producing periodic reports to update leadership of on progress of QC, QA and CI
• Perform additional duties per direction of management
• Building a fun and inclusive culture in the technical operations

What We Expect

• 5 years of construction-related manufacturing experience
• Deep knowledge and understanding of construction specifications, especially of local and the State of California code requirements
• You are able to execute your goals with minimal direction
• You have the ability to interpret architectural drawings and other construction documents, read prints, measure accurately, and have a solid understanding of construction
• You work well with all personality types
• You display potential and willingness to learn and grow
• You have good communication and organizational skills
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel required

Pay ranges from $90-130K depending on experience.
