    Position Purpose: Support the development and maintenance of quality improvement projects focused on HEDIS Hybrid Operations. This role involves helping health plans with medical record review from a clinical perspective.

    Train providers, health plans, and staff in continuous quality improvement methodologies and tools, as well as HEDIS abstraction and over-read processes.

    Provide clinical support for medical record abstraction, over-read, and audit processes.

    Monitor performance on established quality indicators outlined in contracts. Analyze, track, and identify trends in results.

    Prepare for and participate in meetings with various committees, state agencies, providers, health plans, vendors, and stakeholders.

    Recommend, develop, and implement quality performance improvement plans (PIPs) with management, using the PDSA model. Monitor and report progress of PIPs until completion.

    Education/Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Healthcare, or Quality (including HEDIS measures or NCQA) or equivalent experience. 3 years of related healthcare experience.

    License/Certification: Registered Nurse preferred. Certified Professional in Health Care Quality preferred.
