  • Position Summary:

    Highly motivated and experienced Clinical Quality & Compliance Program Manager needed to join our team. You will play an important role in revamping and managing our clinical quality and compliance program, ensuring we deliver the highest quality care to our patients while adhering to all relevant regulations. This position requires to manage the analysis of statistical data, maintain compliance for all federal, state, and regulatory requirements and assists in the review, investigation and reporting of Incident Reports and related Risk Management activities.

    Responsibilities:

    • Lead the creation and execution of comprehensive programs that enhance patient outcomes, minimize risk and foster a culture of compliance.
    • Demonstrates sound leadership skills and utilizes these skills in organizing the performance improvement activities
    • Coordinates quality and performance improvement activities, including process improvements and outcomes of patient care.
    • Leads in the collection of chart audits and other types of data that reflect process and outcomes of patient care, analyzes results, and initiates corrective action for deficiencies. 
    •  Manages the analysis of statistical data.
    • Maintains compliance for all federal, state, and regulatory requirements.
    • Assists in the review, investigation and reporting of Incident Reports and related Risk Management activities.
    • Record of consistently high quality of interpersonal skills to be an exemplary role model to others
    • Displays knowledge of treatment procedures
    • Knowledge of abnormal psychology;
    • Knowledge of medical terminology; thorough familiarity of psychopharmacology and the use of psychotropic medications
    • Problem-solving; organizational and time-management
    • Skills in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with a variety of clinical and support team members
    • Empathy for patients and their families
    • Flexibility regarding hours and scheduled work
    • Skills in maintaining information as highly confidential

    Minimum Qualifications:

    Experience: Minimum of (3) years of psychiatric hospital  experience.

    Thorough knowledge of regulatory conditions of participation.

    HIPAA: Has access to all PHIS necessary to perform job functions and assuring compliance with standards of care.

     

    Work Demands/Environment:Requires full range of body motion, including handling and lifting patients, manual and finger dexterity and eye-hand coordination. Requires standing and walking for extensive periods of time. In addition to lifting of patients, occasionally lifts and carries items weighing up to 50 pounds. Requires corrected vision and hearing to normal range. Requires working under stressful conditions and/or working irregular hours. Potential exposure to communicable diseases, toxic substances, body fluids and other conditions common to a hospital environment.
