Quality Improvement Director - Healthcare leads and directs process and overall quality improvement activities that produce better patient care and more efficient operations. Develops programs to review and evaluate patient care and outcomes. Being a Quality Improvement Director - Healthcare implements a strategy and plans for a quality improvement function within the facility in collaboration with the administrative and clinical leaders of the hospital. Tracks and presents results of improvement efforts and ongoing measures of clinical processes to management. Additionally, Quality Improvement Director - Healthcare requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to top management. The Quality Improvement Director - Healthcare typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments.     Quality Inspector Responsibilities

    (To include but not limited to the following)

    Client Relationship & Business Development

    • The Quality Inspector acts as an impartial third party between the production source and the customer facility to ensure the product meets set criteria.

    Operations

    • The Quality Inspector performs quality inspection / quality audits on incoming material using hand gaging and visual techniques to determine conformance to specifications and fitness for use.
    • Contains non-conforming parts and/or sub-assemblies.
    • Rectifies non-conforming material by rework, sorting and/or scrapping as directed by Team Leader.
    • Uses methods such as de-rusting, grinding, drilling, tapping, assembly and/or disassembly to rectify non-conforming material.
    • Determines the tools and equipment needed to do the job.
    • Grinds, sands, cleans and oils parts and/or sub-assemblies by using hand tools or equipment.

    Organization & Management

    • Communicate sort/inspection results to managers, supervisors and production source.

    Technical

    • MUST be able to use basic hand tools such as gaging, drills, taps, grinders and/or sanders to repair and/or clean parts and/or sub-assemblies.
    • Utilize company portal for time recording and policy acknowledgements.
