Quality Management Director - Healthcare leads and directs all quality management activities for the hospital including patient care and relations, JHACO compliance, risk management and safety, performance improvement, and infection control. Develops strategic plans and policies for improved quality throughout the hospital and works with top management to ensure compliance with regulatory agencies. Being a Quality Management Director - Healthcare typically requires a bachelor's degree in the field or a related area and certification as a registered nurse. Typically reports to top management. The Quality Management Director - Healthcare manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function.     The Director of Quality Management will join a 200 bed facility with an outstanding track record and history of amazing patient care.     The Director of Quality Management will typically oversee a team of quality improvement specialists, patient safety officers, and other staff involved in quality assurance and patient safety initiatives. Supported by a Manager of Quality, a Manager of Infection Control, and a Patient Safety Supervisor, the Director will lead an experienced team. Additionally, the Director would report to the Chief Medical Officer or the Chief Nursing Officer of the health care organization. 

    The Director of Quality Management will lead several expansive and facility-wide programs ranging from Clinical Quality to Patient Safety and Infection control. This Director of Quality Management will be responsible for developing and implementing initiatives to improve patient care and safety, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. They will also analyze data, lead teams, and provide education to staff on quality improvement practices, serving as a key resource for quality-related issues within the organization.
