Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure.     JOB REQUIREMENTS

    • License/Education/Certification: Formal education program or training in Quality Improvement/Risk Management/Compliance
    • Minimum 5 years of experience in a Quality/Compliance position in a similar healthcare setting and ideally in Behavioral Health, preferred.
    • Familiarity with healthcare laws, regulations, accreditation standards, state licensure or certification and Best Practices in healthcare compliance program implementation
    • Knowledge of the principals of The Joint Commission and must be well versed in CMS guidelines
    • Knowledge and understanding of the Regulatory Compliance Ohio Department of Mental Health and Addictions
    • Serves as resource for faculty regarding medical record content and regulatory requirements
    • Ability to adapt to change and work under stressful situation

    JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

    As Director of Quality and Compliance, you will :

    • Interpret, support, and execute facility and department policies and procedures.
    • Monitor reports, documents, statistical surveys, and other data as required.
    • Ensure accurate and thorough charting of departmental services.
    • Coordinate compliance with Joint Commission and other regulatory agencies and provide reports to the CEO regarding compliance.
