Develops strategic plans and policies for improved quality throughout the hospital and works with top management to ensure compliance with regulatory agencies. Being a Quality Management Director - Healthcare typically requires a bachelor's degree in the field or a related area and certification as a registered nurse. Typically reports to top management. The Quality Management Director - Healthcare manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function.     What you’ll be doing:

    • Ensure protected Health Information (PHI) remains confidential and is accurately entered in our Electronic Medical Records (EMR).
    • Audit records for completeness and quality assurance.
    • Fax, email, call and promote relationships with physician partners.
    • Manage outstanding documents that need to be signed by ordering physicians.
    • Maintaining emails in the shared HIM box accordingly and timely.
    • Document all coordination of care and communications accurately and thoroughly in the EMR to assure the highest standard of compliance with home health regulations.

    What you need to have:

    • High school diploma
    • 1 years of experience in the healthcare industry
    • Strong knowledge of medical terminology
    • Ability to learn and use computer systems (Windows, MS Office, Excel, Outlook)

    ​​Salary $17.00 - $21.00 an hour, Compensation dependent on experience.
