Quality Management Director - Healthcare jobs in Saint Cloud, MN
Quality Management Director - Healthcare leads and directs all quality management activities for the hospital including patient care and relations, JHACO compliance, risk management and safety, performance improvement, and infection control. Develops strategic plans and policies for improved quality throughout the hospital and works with top management to ensure compliance with regulatory agencies. Being a Quality Management Director - Healthcare typically requires a bachelor's degree in the field or a related area and certification as a registered nurse. Typically reports to top management. The Quality Management Director - Healthcare manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function. This individual must ensure that all legal aspects of employment are accomplished according to state and federal law and to meet the requirements of the facility licensing statutes.
Job Responsibilities:
- Ensures safety and quality of care of each resident
- Communicates with medical providers, referral sources, families, employees and residents
- Performs routine assessments on residents and monitors changes in condition
- Assists with medication ordering and destruction
- Responds promptly and professionally to resident emergency situations
- Monitors performance and care provider team
- Builds a highly trained and efficient team through diligent training, education, retainment programs, interviews and scheduling
- Exhibits leadership to care providers
- Assists residents with questions or concerns of personal health
- Evaluates performance evaluations, documentation, coaching and up to termination if applicable
- Establishes, schedules and organizes resident caregivers for optimum service to our residents regarding physcial health, safety, socialization, recreational therapy and well being
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $80,000.00 per year
