Being a Quality Management Director - Healthcare typically requires a bachelor's degree in the field or a related area and certification as a registered nurse. Typically reports to top management. The Quality Management Director - Healthcare manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function.     How you will contribute:
    • Managing, developing, and coaching professional staff
    • Reviewing audit engagement procedures over various income statement and balance sheet accounts
    • Adequately identifying audit risks and problems through review to ensure audit engagements are completed with defendable files and documentation
    • Understanding client service relationships and how to utilize firm resources to provide unmatched client service to existing clients
    • Using technology tools proficiently in regular assignments and demonstrating a commitment to improving work processes through the use of technology
    • Demonstrating the ability to recognize problems and propose sensible solutions, with an appropriate balance between client needs and the firm's risk
    • Consistently identifying engagement and operating opportunities for improvement and providing timely solutions and consultation
    • Managing multiple concurrent engagements without disruption and within scheduled deadlines
    • Providing staff with timely performance feedback
    • Managing multiple client relationships, billings, and resource needs
    • Building personal referral sources and clientele while actively participating in team marketing opportunities
    • Leading audit committee and board meeting presentations
    • Participating in speaking and article-writing opportunities

    Minimum Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
    • 9 years or more of relevant audit experience
    • CPA License
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

    Preferred Qualifications:
    • Experience with healthcare provider organizations
    • Experience with both not-for-profit and governmental GAAP
    • Single audit experience
