    Position Summary & Responsibilities: Research Analyst

    As a Research Analyst, you'll be at the forefront of gathering and reviewing data for the Survey of Occupational Injuries and Illnesses (SOII). Your role isn't just about numbers – you'll be working hand-in-hand with employers, ensuring that the data they provide is not just accurate, but of the highest quality possible. You'll be the go-to person for respondents and potential respondents, answering their queries with expertise and professionalism, making you the essential first point of contact for our survey telephone line.

Brace yourself for an even more riveting task: researching and maintaining confidential case files of work-related deaths for the Census of Fatal Occupational Injuries (CFOI) program. Here, you'll be a detective of sorts, using your investigative skills to identify, verify, and profile fatal worker injuries. Picture yourself sifting through various sources – from death certificates to workers' compensation reports – piecing together the intricate details of each workplace fatality. It's a challenging yet incredibly rewarding endeavor that puts your analytical prowess to the test.

    Minimum Qualifications:
