Community Healthcare System is hiring an Oracle/Peoplesoft ERP Developer Analyst II!

Job Description:

Reporting to the ERP Manager, the Senior Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Developer/ Analyst provides proficiencies and decision support with business workflows to analyze, design, develop and implement business critical solutions utilizing analytical skills and ERP technologies.  Responsible for the collaboration with other departments to determine system objectives. Participate in enterprise application implementations, enhancements, upgrades, maintenance and support.  Maintain required expert level knowledge in their respective business and application areas.  Leverage and recommend best practice software development lifecycle standards, leverage and recommend change management methodologies to reduce risk and allow for disaster recovery.  Provide Root Cause Analysis (RCA) Report for all system level issues requiring a production downtime.  Perform project management role for ERP projects following CHS PMO guidelines.  Provides guidance and knowledge transfer to junior level team members.

• • Functions as Technical Subject Matter Expert (SME), Project Manager, Systems Developer and Business Analyst for ERP enterprise applications.
  • Provides ERP business solutions utilizing the latest Oracle PeopleTools technologies and frameworks; such as Application Designer, Application Engine, Application Packages, Application Integration Framework, Approval Framework, Component Interfaces, Data Migration Workbench, Data Transformer, Event and Notification Framework, Peoplecode, PeopleSoft Test Framework, SQL, SQR, Web Services, Workcenter, API’s, Open Search, building Insights.
  • Utilizes ERP Staff in determining and resolving complex issues impacting business operations and application functionality.
  • Manages the implementation process when installing or upgrading new software or software versions.  Completes Compare Reports, PeopleSoft Selective Adoption, PeopleSoft Update Manager (PUM) and required testing phases.
  • Defines system requirements, conducts fit / gap analysis, identifies feasible alternative solutions, defines the scope of modifications, develops project plans and deliverables.
  • Develops reporting solutions utilizing the latest Oracle PeopleTools technologies; including Application Engine, Dashboards, Insights, Search, nVision, Query, Pivot Grids, SQR, and XML Publisher.
  • Authors end-user documentation and technical documentation on developed solutions which contributes to the IT ERP Knowledge Base.
  • Provides ongoing task and project status updates to ERP Manager and Project Manager.
  • Completes project related assignments within the required time frames, according to the established schedules and priorities.
  • Apply knowledge of ERP application tables and file structures to identify and resolve system issues.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Skills & Qualifications:  

• Bachelor’s degree required with emphasis on ERP, Application Design, or Computer Science
• Minimum 8 years business application experience, latest version of Oracle / PeopleSoft Application  (FSCM and HCM) modules required
• Minimum 8 years technical experience, latest version of Oracle PeopleTools and related technology frameworks
• Oracle / PeopleSoft certifications required
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Expert business knowledge of finance, human resource and supply chain management functions in a healthcare organization
• Good analytical and problem solving skills
• Good knowledge and experience with MS SQL and MS Office preferred
• Ability to develop programs independently to meet needs of functional business units.
