RFP Manager oversees the development of proposals, bids, quotations, RFP responses, or other documents describing organizational products and services in response to requests from prospective clients. Manages and meets proposal deadlines by establishing project priorities and due dates for the proposal. Being an RFP Manager collaborates and coordinates with internal contributors and subject matter experts to ensure content is complete, accurate, and maximizes business opportunities. Develops and establishes a repository of templates, standard language, product collateral, exhibits, and other data resources to create high-quality and accurate responses. Additionally, RFP Manager establishes a tracking system with win-loss information. Reviews and analyzes RFP losses to recommend enhancements to products or processes. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The RFP Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be an RFP Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required. Position Summary Brown Advisory, a rapidly growing investment management firm, is currently seeking a Request for Proposal (RFP) Associate to assist with the completion and oversight of RFIs, RFPs, DDQs, and ad-hoc requests that procure new business and address the due diligence and reporting needs of clients. The individual will join our Global Sales and Service team and will be responsible for collaborating with various internal stakeholders to complete client questionnaires and ensure the data on Brown Advisory investment strategies are accurately maintained within the firms’ internal RFP content databases. Primary responsibility is to be focused on content and data management across global databases. The ideal candidate will have a foundational understanding of the investment management landscape as well as the ability to learn and thrive within a growing organization with multiple investment capabilities. This role requires excellent time management and communication skills as well as the ability to manage multiple priorities working under pressure of deadlines with tight turnaround times.
