RFP Manager oversees the development of proposals, bids, quotations, RFP responses, or other documents describing organizational products and services in response to requests from prospective clients. Manages and meets proposal deadlines by establishing project priorities and due dates for the proposal. Being an RFP Manager collaborates and coordinates with internal contributors and subject matter experts to ensure content is complete, accurate, and maximizes business opportunities. Develops and establishes a repository of templates, standard language, product collateral, exhibits, and other data resources to create high-quality and accurate responses. Additionally, RFP Manager establishes a tracking system with win-loss information. Reviews and analyzes RFP losses to recommend enhancements to products or processes. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The RFP Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be an RFP Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required.     POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

    In this role, you will be responsible for writing copy for email blasts, follow up emails, sales emails, and all steps of our sales funnels. You will play a critical role in our marketing process and will be a key contributor to our growth.

    • Produce well-researched, high-quality, well-researched, and SEO-optimized content for print, internet, social media, and advertising 
    • Use your skills as a writer to turn marketing jargon into digestible and engaging narratives.
    • Complete drafts of content or finished projects within the deadline.
    • Perform keyword research and incorporate relevant keywords into your writing.
    • Uphold excellent copyediting skills with strong attention to details like spelling, grammar, and clarity.
    • Utilize industry best practices and familiarity with the organization's mission to inspire ideas and content.
    • Communicate and collaborate with a writing team, including a content manager, editors, and web publishers.
    • Develop related content for multiple platforms such as websites, email marketing, product descriptions, videos, and blogs.

    PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

    This job operates in a professional office environment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be largely sedentary and will be required to sit/stand for long periods while using a computer and telephone headset. The employee will be regularly required to operate a computer and other office equipment, including a phone, copier, and printer. The employee may occasionally be required to move about the office to accomplish tasks; reach in any direction; raise or lower objects, move objects from place to place, hold onto objects, and move or exert force up to forty (40) pounds.
