    Shift: Shift will vary based on business needs - clinic is open Mon to Fri from 7AM to 7PM

    The role you’ll contribute:

    The Sports Performance General Manager is responsible and accountable for providing leadership to the following areas of the Training Center: fitness services (to include medical clearance process, fitness assessments/testing and equipment orientation) group exercise programming, personal training, and team testing and training, to ensure optimal quality and customer service. The General Manager is also responsible for the development and execution of new fitness programming designed to increase market share and create new opportunities to promote AdventHealth and Sports Performance.

    • Plans, develops, and implements Sports Performance Program. Continuously monitors and evaluates programming to recognize opportunities for improvement and updates as needed.
    • Ensures that compliance and safety of sports performance area meets regulatory, industry and AdventHealth standards.
    • Hires and orients sports performance staff to processes, equipment, safety, and operational plans. Responsible for and actively participates in the mentorship and professional development of staff, employee engagement and customer and stakeholder's satisfaction. Monitors and develops plans related to employee and customer satisfaction.
    • Responsible for the overall mission, strategic development and implementation, operations, and business objectives of the Sports Performance program. Provides leadership and management to achieve business goals.
    • Promotes and markets the program with clinical partners and collaborates with other departments and teams. Actively engages in activities to improve internal and external awareness of the Sports Performance Program.

    The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:

    Minimum qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Exercise Physiology, Kinesiology, Sports Management, or related field such as Exercise Science
    • ACSM Certified Health Fitness Specialist / Instructor
    • Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist
