Job Overview:

Gridiron Washington (Formerly Pick 6 Sports) Field Manager is in charge of overseeing and running the game day operations for our youth sports program in the Spokane Area at Shadle Park High School. This person is all about ensuring that it is a great experience for our players, coaches, parents, and referees. Our program is about kids having fun and dreaming big! The Gridiron Washington staff is empowered to ensure the kids are having a great time while maintaining a safe environment on the field.

About Gridiron Washington (Formerly Pick 6 Sports), the largest provider of Flag Football in the Pacific Northwest, is looking for a Site Manager for our upcoming Spring season! Our program is “All About the Kids” and we want great employees who like to have fun, encourage kids, ensure safe play, and be active out on the Football field. Our mission is to put a smile on every kids face, but that starts with our employees having fun and creating that fun environment.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Commitment to work the entire season. Games are both on Sunday. Can plan on being at the field for 5 to 6 hours per day. Season runs roughly 7 to 8 weeks long.
• Must possess an energetic personality, have a great attitude, love to smile, and give kids High 5's
• Hiring and Training of Referees to officiate games on a weekly basis. Coach and manage referees on a weekly basis.
• Oversee game day operations of the flag football league
• Main point of contact for all parent, coaches, and players. Must have a great attitude and to ensure an awesome experience on the field.
• Set up and Break down for game date events
• Manage a group of volunteer coaches to ensure a positive experience for players, coaches, and referees.
• Update all paperwork such as scores, time cards, equipment needs, ect..
• Attend a bi weekly meeting with Gridiron WA leaders (Glenn Widmer & Rodney Brown)
• Oversee marketing efforts as directed by Gridiron WA Leaders

Schedule - Candidates should be able to work these days in either Seattle or West Seattle.

Spokane @ Shadle Park High School - 4/6, 4/7, 4/14, 4/21, 4/28, 5/5. 5/19, 6/2, 6/9. Time would be between 12pm to 6pm.

Qualifications and Rules:

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain rules to elementary-aged players and create good rapport with volunteer coaches.
• High level organization skills and ability to multi-task.
• Outstanding Customer Service skills to work with parents and coaches to ensure kids are having a great time
• Ability to see issues from all perspectives and quickly resolve conflicts
• Highly motivated individual; can work independently
• Pass National Background Check
• Commitment to working the full season
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Reliable transportation with the ability to transport equipment to the fields

Compensation Pay is hourly and is paid weekly on Friday.

Hours / Dates Typically you can expect to work around 40 hours per location during a season. Employees are able to work or apply to work at multiple locations.
