Job Overview:
As the Front Desk Supervisor for MaxHealth Family, Internal & Sports Medicine, your primary job is to supervise the front desk staff’s day-to-day performance and productivity while empowering them and creating a positive, efficient work environment. In addition, work closely with the People and Culture Manager (PCM) and Chief Operating Officer (COO) to implement processes to improve efficiency and/or improve the patient’s experience and healthcare.
Responsibilities:
· Coordinate front desk flow and patients care by overseeing all processes, procedures, and employees in the department.
· Be aware and share ideas to improve patient care, work efficiency, and staff satisfaction.
· Ensure follow-thru on all patient issues that come through the front desk and communicate with PCM on any patient issues and outcomes.
· Ensure departmental HIPAA Compliance. Communicate with the Privacy Officer when necessary.
· Supervise to guarantee efficiency and professionalism throughout the department.
· Create, maintain, and enter front desk staff schedules by the 15th for the next month in iSolved, while always ensuring adequate staff coverage.
· Complete payroll and handle iSolved tasks/needs related to the front desk staff.
· Work with COO on Catalyst Quality Measure assignments.
· Train and support front desk staff on job tasks.
· Work closely with the PCM on department front desk/EHR procedures and training program.
· Motivate, set goals & expectations with deadlines; encourage cross training within the employees own department as well as other departments in the company, if available.
· Ensure that all front desk staff are following company policy per the EMC Handbook and /or updates such as memos or e-mails. Communicate with PCM when necessary.
· Conduct face-to-face performance evaluations of employees alongside PCM.
· Communicate with PCM with any problems that arise with employees or processes.
· Deal with front office equipment issues that arise, causing a delay in data entry and/or work efficiency. Communicate, when necessary, with COO.
· Immediately notify the COO with front office building issues and needs (i.e. leaks in roof, tears in chairs, light bulb out, etc.).
· Receive employee absence notifications and questions 6am to 10pm Monday-Thursday, 6am to 5pm Friday, 7am to12pm Saturday and Sunday evening, for absences only.

o Insurance Mail
o Acuity Brain Center
o MaxMotion
· Other duties assigned by COO.
Requirements:

· Ability to be flexible regarding schedule and duties.
Physical Abilities:
