The job will be located in Amasa, Michigan in Iron County in the Upper Peninsula.

We are seeking a Production Supervisor to work on Second Shift at our Mill.

Responsibilities Include

• Serve as person in charge in the event of a facility alarm, safety incident, personnel conflict, or other incident requiring leadership to resolve during the shift
• Oversee the production and inspection required in each machine to meet the production schedule
• Troubleshoot production issues and make adjustments accordingly
• Review and complete daily reports and all paperwork
• Partner with the quality, and maintenance departments to ensure problems with quality, processes, equipment, or materials are resolved correctly in a timely manner
• Compliance with ISO 9001& ISO 1401 standards and 5S Visual Workplace/Lean Manufacturing
• Maintain a clean and organized work area to facilitate manufacturing functions
• Other duties as assigned by the Plant Director or Production Manager
• Operate forklift as needed

We seek the following:

• HS Diploma, GED or work experience preferred
• Computer skills helpful, Microsoft Office
• Good mathematical skills
• Read, write, and communicate in English
• Communicate well with all levels within the company
• Ability to lead as a team player
• Detail Minded and Safety Oriented
• Forklift experience

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
