Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as an Accounts Payable Clerk. As an Accounts Payable Clerk, you will be responsible for accurately processing and recording all invoices and payments in a timely manner. This is a vital role within our organization, ensuring that our financial transactions are properly documented and our vendors are paid on time.

Duties:
- Process vendor invoices, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies
- Verify invoice details, such as quantities, prices, and terms
- Prepare and process payments to vendors, utilizing accounting software
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies or issues
- Maintain accurate records of all accounts payable transactions
- Assist with month-end closing activities related to accounts payable
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve any payment-related inquiries or issues
- Stay updated on industry trends and changes in accounting regulations

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree in accounting or related field preferred
- Proven experience as an Accounts Payable Clerk or similar role
- Proficient in using QuickBooks, MS Office
- Basic knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles)
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Basic understanding of financial concepts and principles
- Ability to handle confidential information with integrity and professionalism
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
