Radiation Therapy Dosimetrist jobs in Florence, AL
Radiation Therapy Dosimetrist calculates computerized isodose plans for radiation oncology patients. Computes standard dose calculations and determines computerized generation of isodose curves for external beam hyperthermia and brachytherapy radiation treatment programs. Being a Radiation Therapy Dosimetrist calculates treatment machine settings, documents calculations, and records treatment data in therapy chart. Interprets physician prescriptions to develop a therapeutic treatment plan. Additionally, Radiation Therapy Dosimetrist typically requires completion of a training program in medical dosimetry and ARRT registration in radiation therapy. Requires a bachelor's degree of physical or biological sciences. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. Physical Therapy Assistant needed for outpatient clinic in Florence, AL
Outpatient experience required
13 week assignment
36 hours guaranteed with the expectation of working up to 40 hours.
OT must be approved by director before any OT hours are worked.
Productivity expectations is 60 patients per week
