Qualifications and Skills

• Bilingual: Fluent in written and spoken English and Spanish
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
• Proficient with electronic communication and devices, including Microsoft office, Microsoft Outlook, and additional computer programs
• Must be organized, punctual, possess strong time management skills, and able to prioritize while multitasking
• Previous medical front desk/receptionist experience preferred

Responsibilities and Duties

• Greets visitors and callers, handles their inquiries, and directs them to the appropriate persons according to their needs.
• Provide patients, applicants, and caregivers with support and guidance as needed
• Answering multi-line telephones and able to return calls in a promptly manner while leaving voice messages in a timely basis.
• Maintaining highest levels of customer care while demonstrating a friendly and cooperative attitude.
• Updating and maintaining records
• Medicaid eligibility verification checks
• Demonstrating flexibility in satisfying customer demands in a high volume, production environment
• Works cooperatively with fellow employees to solve problems and enhance the smooth and efficient flow of the practice.
