Radiation Therapy Technologist (ARRT) II administers radiation therapy by exposing specific areas of the patient's body to prescribed doses of radiation. Maintains patient charts, noting such information as the area treated, the radiation dosage, equipment control settings, the patient's reactions, and the total amount of radiation received to date. Being a Radiation Therapy Technologist (ARRT) II consults with radiation oncologists and other clinical staff as needed. May require a bachelor's degree in a related area. Additionally, Radiation Therapy Technologist (ARRT) II typically requires graduation from an accredited radiation therapy program, certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), and a state license to practice. Typically reports to a physician or manager. The Radiation Therapy Technologist (ARRT) II work is generally independent and collaborative in nature.     • Position Summary
      • Under the general direction of a Manager or Supervisor, the Administrative Specialist I performs a combination of administrative, project, and operational support work. The position is responsible for coordinating the daily activities of the assigned department and administrative operations while working closely with management and departmental staff. The incumbent prepares correspondence, reports, and other documents; makes travel arrangements; manages schedules and calendars, administers budgets and other similar activities. The position serves as a resource person regarding department policy, procedures, and practice.
    • Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
      • Education: High school diploma or GED preferred. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
      • License/Certifications: N/A
      • Experience: 4-5 years of experience in an administrative support role preferred.
