Radiation Therapy Technologist (ARRT) II administers radiation therapy by exposing specific areas of the patient's body to prescribed doses of radiation. Being a Radiation Therapy Technologist (ARRT) II consults with radiation oncologists and other clinical staff as needed. May require a bachelor's degree in a related area. Additionally, Radiation Therapy Technologist (ARRT) II typically requires graduation from an accredited radiation therapy program, certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), and a state license to practice. Typically reports to a physician or manager. The Radiation Therapy Technologist (ARRT) II work is generally independent and collaborative in nature.     Make a meaningful impact as a Computed Tomography Technologist at a reputable healthcare facility currently experiencing a staffing shortage. Jackson CT Scan Technologists must be able to accurately interpret a physician's scanning instructions, administer contrast materials, and operate the CT scan equipment.

    Minimum Qualifications:

    • 1 year of CT experience or current enrollment in CT practicum.
    • Completion of a Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) accredited program in Radiology required.
    • Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification or ability to obtain ARRT certification, in all practice specialty areas, within one year of hire or transfer date required
    • BLS certification.
    • Maintain CEU/CME's as applicable for licensure.
